Kangaroo Fern
Water: Water when soil is partially dry. Light: Medium light. Low light in summer. Tips: Mist daily to keep it humid. Fertilize in spring and summer only with 1/2 strength fertilizer.
Majesty Palm
Water: Water when soil is halfway dry. Light: Medium or bright indirect light but will adapt gradually to sun or low light. Tips: Mist daily to keep it humid.
Nerve Plant (Fittonia)
Water: Keep Soil Evenly Moist. Mist plant to keep it humid/moist. Light: Indirect light is best. Can also thrive under fluorescent lights. Tips: Great for terrariums! Plant will “faint” when it needs something (too cold, needs to be removed from sun, needs to be watered, etc...) but will recover quickly once needs met.
Spider Plant
Water: Water once a week in summer and spring, can dry out more in between waterings in the winter. Light: Bright to moderate indirect light. Tips: Browning tips can be caused from chemical buildup from the water.
Christmas Cactus
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist while your plant is blooming, misting it frequently. Light: Place the cactus in an east-facing window for moderate light and some direct sun. Tips: Repot your cactus each year after flowering. Maintain an optimal climate of 65 degrees. About six to eight weeks before you want the plant to rebloom, you should allow the plant to begin its dormancy cycle by cutting back on Christmas cactus moisture and reducing both light and temperature.
